"Doesn't take time!" is the answer I get when I ask people "what's important about your nutritional options?" Time to shop, plan, organize, chop, cook, store, pack for lunch or not, and then clean out the fridge, throw out what's not eaten, or compost it, while you try to reduce food waste.
And then start again. Do you think you cannot reduce food waste? I used to. But I have finally found a solution, mostly because higher quality whey protein drinks and a green smoothie mix have shown such improvements, and are now affordable. My criteria for these are:
*must be from grass fed cows, if a whey protein
*must be organic green foods
*must have as little calories as possible for the nutritional food options ingredients
*must have some fiber
*must NOT have artificial sweeteners or fructose
This has been a trial and error juggle, but I have found that I can buy a little less of the stuff I end up throwing out, and keep some whey protein drinks mix and super green smoothie mix on hand for when I want to have a smaller breakfast/lunch/dinner.
The reason why I avoid the normal nutritional food options, such as frozen processed dinners or packaged salads is because of the pesticides and preservatives added to the foods while being grown or processed. Other additives to keep the foods tasty are MSG, labeled under many confusing names, and sweeteners or artificial sweeteners. And, these packaged foods are loaded with sodium, but contain no mineral rich sea salt.
Plus all the seasonings added may be artificially flavored "stuff" - those words on the label that are forty or so letters long, that only a food chemist would understand. And what is "natural flavors"? And why should you be fussy about what you eat?
Increase Anti Aging - Endocrine Disruptors Will Stop You
Many food additives, pesticides and herbicides act as estrogen mimickers in our body. Bad for both women and men. Estrogen out of balance is dangerous. Your endocrine system balance is of prime importance to your health. Estrogen is a growth hormone, and can lead to cancers, and prepubescent puberty, robbing your kids of their childhood.
And, can rob you of a chunk of your adulthood if you end up getting cancer. Survival may be likely, but the process and aftermath can be horrible. And especially heartbreaking if it is your child.
I hope you'll try out my suggested nutritional options and you'll reduce food waste too.

How To Get Rid Of Constipation
Dr. Sears has formulated a way to get RID OF CONSTIPATION!
. He has, previously, recommend that his patients who wish to increase their general health, understand the importance of fiber in foods and consume fruits, nuts and vegetables, and to stay hydrated throughout the day.
Over time, however, he began to understand that something more effective was needed, to combat the modern processed food diet, and also help his patients understand how to get rid of constipation. His result is the following of herbs, that together provide fast constipation relief:
• Cascara Sagrada – This herb stimulates the colon, which will help alleviate occasional constipation. In a word, it helps make you more “regular.”
• Aloe ferox latex – This stimulates the colon and improves the consistency of stool. Aloe not only stimulates the muscle of the colon to contract; it exerts a soothing effect on the lining of the gastrointestinal tract.
• Rhubarb – This humble, everyday vegetable has the power to tone and tighten the muscles of the intestinal wall, and to support your gut’s function. Herbalists believe rhubarb, as an astringent, also neutralizes the effects of toxic build-up in your gut.
• Marshmallow root – This root acts as a natural adhesive. When it’s exposed to water, as it is when entering the intestinal tract, it soothes and coats the intestinal lining.
• Slippery Elm bark – Slippery Elm is a native tree of the Appalachian Mountains. The bark is loaded with fiber and contains muciledge – a sludge substance found in plants that helps soothe the intestinal lining.
These herbs gently work together on the folds and contours of your colon. In addition, this combination's ongoing action helps loosen and dislodge any build-up.
Don't you want to:
• Say goodbye to sluggish mornings and hello to feeling good again
• Pass waste without straining!
• Beat the bloat
• Release toxins from your body

Omega 3 Fatty Acids and Irritable Bowel Syndrome Or IBS
Irritable Bowel Syndrome or IBS, is more widespread than we might suppose. The main symptom of IBS is abdominal pain and cramps after eating. A sufferer may also experience diarrhea, constipation, gas or bloating. Sometimes mucous may be seen in the feces. These symptoms usually are ongoing for at least 90 days before an IBS diagnosis is considered by a medical doctor. For this diagnosis, the symptoms are present in spite of the absence of true structural damage to the intestines.
Most people have symptoms in the milder range, and fortunately, an improved diet can usually relieve the suffering considerably.
Contributing factors to an irritable bowel may be food allergies, altered bowel microflora (of the acidophilus type), intestinal parasites, lack of dietary fiber, and lack of digestive enzymes. Eating sugar, refined carbohydrates, and chemical non-foods (colorings and other additives, and foods made from petroleum products) is probably not going to improve the situation.
This syndrome is associated with emotional stresses like depression, hysteria, obsessive-compulsive traits, anxiety, resentment, marital conflicts, death of a loved one, or prolonged excessive anxiety over everyday matters. IBS occurs predominantly in women, at a ratio of 3:1 to men, and the average age of onset is 20-40.
Omega-3's are a type of essential fatty acids that the body cannot produce from what you eat. Therefore, you must get them in your daily diet in order to supply the many body functions that need them.
Wild caught cold water fish are an excellent source of OMEGA 3 OILS!
but now that our industrialized world has contaminated ocean water, and consequently the fish and mammals that live in the oceans, it is recommended generally not to eat these fish more than 3-4 times a week. These recommendations can vary if you are pregnant, so check with your doctor.
Omega 3 oils are the components of eicosanoids, hormone-like compounds that regulate blood pressure, clotting, and many other biochemical functions.
Currently, the best source of omega 3 fats from fish, is OMEGANOL
a nutritional supplement.
With the contaminants removed (mercury and others), you can have a daily dose and let omega-3's do what they have been reported to do well - balancing the immune system, decreasing inflammation, diminishing depression and anxiety and lowering some of the risk factors for heart disease.
This precious food is also healthy for normal skin, joints, and soft tissues. Omega 3 oils are anti-aging and anti-inflammatory and if you do suffer from IBS, you may experience some relief by including more OMEGA 3 OILS

Congestive heart failure is one of the forms of heart disease. Such a diagnosis tells you that your heart is no longer able to pump a sufficient quantity of blood for your body to stay healthy. The result is fluid congestion that can eventually shut off your vital organs.
20% of people diagnosed with this heart condition, (CHF, die within twelve months. Another half are deceased five years later. BUT HERE'S THE GOOD NEWS FOR YOU: Ubiquinol CoQ10 is one of the best health supplements you can take every day. And, it possibly effects a cure for congestive heart failure.
In a noteworthy medical study, researchers dosed seven congestive heart failure patients with about 580 mg of ubiquinol CoQ10, an especially bio-available, or digestable form of CoQ10. (All seven patients were to considered to have a 94% chance of dying within 12 months).
The results were extremely gratifying. Six out of seven patients lived. The patient who did not survive had stopped taking the CoQ10, one of the best antioxidant supplements for a heart food diet, three months into the study.
Wouldn't it be wonderful simple, overlooked nutrient might make this deadly form of heart disease a thing of the past.
It’s unfortunate, but CoQ10 remains underused by most doctors. And the new form, which is 8 times stronger, is almost unknown. Despite volumes of overwhelmingly powerful research, it isn’t recommended as a routine treatment of CHF.
Deficient CoQ10 levels have been found to be an independent predictor of mortality in CHF patients. The higher your CoQ10 levels, the higher your potential is to keep a healthy heart.
The 450 mg to 900 mg range is considered to be a therapeutic amount.
Even if you don’t have this heart problems, CoQ10 is one of the best antioxidant supplements of prevention. The new form of CoQ10 is called ACCEL
